TRANSCRIPT:
Welcome back! I am Tom. As you hear, kicking off each of these podcast episodes, I am a Certified Water Specialist and Registered Master Plumber. An overall plumber these days should have knowledge in installation, repair, and maintenance of various plumbing systems. Just a heads up, if you're looking to hire a plumber — whether it be for residential, commercial, or industrial settings — you can't necessarily assume a general overall plumber can help you with everything. Please do your due diligence just to make sure they specialize in precisely what you need. Unfortunately, we've heard too many stories of "there's a guy that does some plumbing" — where we get called to come in and save the day. The overall plumber potentially could fall into that saying you've heard before — you know: "Jack of all trades, master of none." Now, not to scare you but just like in many areas, not all things are created equal. Certainly, you'll want to be sure who you hire is licensed and insured. In fact, at Tim Beil Plumbing we exceed the amount of liability and property insurance required by the Home Improvement Contractors Registration standards.
Installation: Plumbers are involved in the installation of pipes, fixtures, and appliances related to water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
Repairs: When plumbing issues occur, such as leaks, clogs, or malfunctioning fixtures, plumbers are called upon to diagnose the problem and carry out the necessary repairs. We use specialized tools and techniques to fix or replace faulty components.
Maintenance: Regular maintenance is essential. Plumbers conduct routine inspections, clean drains, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and address potential problems before they escalate into major issues.
Troubleshooting: Plumbers are skilled troubleshooters who can identify the root cause of plumbing problems. We utilize our expertise to determine the most effective solutions and provide advice to our clients on plumbing system upgrades or improvements.
Compliance and Safety: Plumbers adhere to building codes, regulations, and safety standards to ensure that everything is installed and maintained correctly. We prioritize your safety and take measures to prevent hazards such as leaks or contaminated water.
Customer Service: We pride ourselves on providing professional and courteous service. We listen to customers' concerns, offer guidance, and communicate effectively to explain the problem, proposed solutions, and associated costs.
As this episode comes to an end, I hope you don't mind if I boast a little. At Tim Beil Plumbing, we are a family-owned business, now in our 3rd generation. We've been in business for over 50 years, offering a level of knowledge and skill that is difficult to beat. We handle everything you'd expect from an overall plumber, and we take it to the next level by specializing in Premier Service and Premier Quality with all of our plumbing services and water treatment systems.
